After the success of their ‘Sentience’ EP, hard-hitting UK quartet Skarlett Riot soon began to attract interest from far and wide. Signing a deal with The Artery Foundation Management was just the beginning for this highly rated act – soon they had signed a world-wide record deal with the pro-active and forward-thinking Swedish label Despotz Records.

The first release in this new collaboration was the band’s critically acclaimed ‘Regenerate’ release, a record that saw Skarlett Riot stepping up and delivering a big, bold and powerful album and gaining justified plaudits across the music press. After a string of tour dates across Europe, the band are currently holed up in the studio working on their third album, the first to feature new bass player Tim Chambers.

The new material is harder, heavier, faster but still driven by the anthemic hooks that have kept this band at the forefront of the UK modern metal scene.

The band have constantly developed and honed their craft and are now comfortable in their darker and heavier guise. With elements of Asking Alexandria, In This Moment and Bullet For My Valentine shining through, this has opened up all new possibilities for the band.

Skarlett Riot have shared stage with Butcher Babies, Wednesday 13, The Darkness, Sumo Cyco, Deaf Havana, Gus G (Firewind x Ozzy Osbourne Guitarist), Devilskin, Heaven’s Basement, Black Spiders, Glamour of The Kill.

The band’s festival appearances include Download Festival, Bloodstock Festival, Leeds Festival, Reading Festival, Hard Rock Hell, Camden Rocks, Steelhouse Festival, Metal Female Voices Festival (Belgium), and Femme Festival (Netherlands).

Skarlett Riot have played countless shows across the UK, packing out their own headline tours (including sold-out shows) and pulling more high-profile support slots, including their recent tours with Sumo Cyco (most dates sold out!), Toseland and Santa Cruz throughout the UK and Germany.
